March 30, 2011 -The Alban Institute and the Word & Deed Network, based at Palmer Seminary, will present the seminar “Community Ministry: Practical Models, New Resources” on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Palmer. Seminar leader Joy Skjegstad has more than 20 years of experience starting and growing nonprofit organizations with a special focus on faith-based groups. This event also features Dr. Al Tizon, Director of Word & Deed Network, a ministry of Evangelicals for Social Action. Dr. Tizon is also professor of Holistic Ministry at Palmer. the cost of the seminar is $50 (This includes lunch.)
