Film Screening November 1
October 26, 2011 -On Tuesday, November 1, the Seminary will host the screening of the documentary film With God On Our Side, which examines the theology that underlies Christian Zionism. Christian Zionism teaches that because the Jews are God's chosen people, they have a divine right to the land of Israel. Says Tony Campolo, “This film is informative, it’s inspiring, it’s challenging, and it summarizes in brilliant fashion what the problem is and what needs to change. I don’t know of anything quite like it - and I would have to say the church desperately needs it.” The screening will follow a complimentary light lunch (featuring Middle Eastern cuisine) at noon. The lunch and film screening are both free and open to all.
