CERTIFICATE OF BIBLICAL STUDIES
CERTIFICATE OF CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP
CERTIFICATE OF CHRISTIAN STUDIES
CERTIFICATE IN YOUTH MINISTRY

At Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern University, the ESCM certificate program provides an excellent educational option for pastors, ministers and lay leaders who wish to hone their skills in the areas of leadership or enhance their knowledge generally. ESCM offers four certificates: Biblical Studies, Christian Leadership, Christian Studies and Youth Ministry. Students may take courses over the internet or at one of our ESCM extension sites. In all cases, courses are taught to the same standards and may be credited toward  any ESCM certificate or diploma program.

For three of the four programs, earning a certificate requries students to successfully complete nine (9) courses for a minimum of 135 hours of classwork. The exception is the Certificate in Youth Ministry, which requires the completion of ten (10) courses, constituting at least 150 hours of classwork. Students typically complete the certificate program in one year, though they may spread it over two years if they wish.

Please note that for all certificate programs, the Writing for Success class may be waived by students who pass an initial writing skill evaluation.
