Rodney Ragwan

Adjunct Faculty


Rodney is married to Dr. Eva Anita Ragwan and they have three adult children and four grandchildren. He is an ordained Baptist minister who pastored two Baptist churches for 16 1/2 years in his native country, South Africa. He witnessed the demise of apartheid and the birth of a new free country. Both these experiences impacted his life and ministry. In South Africa he served as acting principal of the Baptist Association of South Africa Bible College, and president of the Baptist Association of South Africa. Rodney also served on several committees in the Baptist World Alliance and All Africa Baptist Fellowship. He also serves as a board of director for the Philadelphia Baptist Association.  

Rodney taught at Palmer Theological Seminary’s Eastern School of Christian Ministry and Priscilla Institute. He holds a Doctor of Ministry from Palmer Theological Seminary, USA and a PhD from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Rodney serves as director of Mission Mobilization at International Ministries, American Baptist USA and a bi-vocational pastor at North Wales Baptist Church in Pennsylvania. He currently teaches Contexts, Perspectives and Ministries in the 21st Century and the Seminar Project Proposal course in the Doctor of Ministry program.
