LaMarr R Coles III

Student Chaplain & Tech Ambassador

Being a servant leader is at the core of who I am. I believe that serving others is not just a calling, but it’s the very essence of my identity and ministry.

I’m currently in my second year of the online Master of Divinity program, building on a lifelong foundation of faith and service. I was raised in a Pentecostal church, where I learned the importance of living holy, being sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and serving God’s people with humility, love, and a spirit of excellence. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of serving in various ministry roles, including global mission trips, youth ministry, and many other capacities.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from Old Dominion University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. I now serve as a Nonprofit Coach at Youth Inc. in New York City, helping organizations develop sustainable strategies and strengthen operational effectiveness.

I live in Harlem with my wife, Stephanie, and our newborn son LaMarr IV “LJ,” and our overly energetic and friendly dog Hendrix. We are active members of Bridge Church NYC in Brooklyn, where I serve in the Men’s Ministry, on the Facilities Team, and as a Deacon on the Care Team. Ministry is a shared part of our family life, and we are grateful to serve together.

As Student Chaplain and Tech Ambassador, it’s my joy to support fellow online students through prayer, encouragement, and service. I hope to walk alongside each of you as we remain rooted in our callings and faithful to the work God has placed before us.

I’m here to serve and support you with strength, empathy, and sincerity every step of your journey.
