Elizete Lima (Zazá)
Elizete Lima (Zazá), a Brazilian national, she identifies herself as a disciple of Christ and her area of service as hard-to-reach environments. With a career spanning over 28 years, Zazá has dedicated her missionary work to the North of Africa, the Middle East and Europe where she has collaborated in transformational development projects alongside local emerging churches, spreading the Gospel message in Islamic contexts. Zazá has lived and worked in North African countries for a period of 18 years, and currently serves as Legal Representative of the Mission NGO, with a presence in 15 countries. She is also vice president on COMIBAM Board of Directors and serves as a coordinator and consultant in the field of mental health and Interculturality and in the promotion of human dignity. Zazá is also part of the community of catalysts of the Lausanne Movement in Spain, having served as a PM International missionary for 29 years.
Zazá Lima has earned degrees in Clinical Psychology, Theological and Pedagogical Education, a master’s in Organizational and Transformative Development, and a postgraduate degree in Mental Health Interventions in migratory and vulnerable contexts. Her work has focused on environments of war, refuge, migration, and interculturality.
