Eastern Alumni Unite at the Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) Conference in Portland, OR

Palmer and Eastern were well represented at this year's Christian Community Development Association (CCDA) conference. Team members from Eastern University, Palmer Seminary, and the Campolo Center for Ministry, along with Palmer and Eastern alumni and prospective students, gathered for an inspiring dinner fellowship in the Hyatt's Multnomah Room. The evening was filled with cherished stories, ministry experiences, and bold visions for the future.

A highlight at the conference was Palmer alumna Dr. Lori (Lo) Banfield, who led a workshop titled “Exploring Disenfranchised Grief & Resilience in Justice-Involved Individuals.” Dr. Lo shared insights from her work with Redemption Housing, illustrating the transformative role of community involvement in rehabilitation, bridging psychology and theology.
