The symposium will feature a keynote address by the esteemed Dr. Andrew Newberg, M.D., a pioneer in the field of neurotheology and the director of research at the Marcus Institute of Integrative Health at Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Newberg will explore how brain science contributes to our understanding of religious and spiritual experiences and discuss his groundbreaking research offering insights into how religious experiences are reflected in brain activity.
In addition to the keynote, the event will include engaging panel discussions led by distinguished scholars, who will share their insights on the intersection of faith, science, and the workings of the human mind, offering a multidisciplinary perspective on the quest to understand the spiritual dimensions of human life.
