Rev McCurdy is a global servant with the American Baptist mission society, International Ministries, serving in the areas of theological education and discipleship with a focus in spiritual formation and spiritual direction serving in Costa Rica since 2014. Before that he was a local church pastor serving since 2002.  He served the Bliss Baptist Church In NY and First Baptist Church of LeRoy, NY each for about three years before serving the First Baptist Church of Painesville, OH till 2014. During his service as a pastor and global servant, spiritual formation has become a passion and area of personal, professional, and ministry study. He enjoys sharing that passion with students in the Masters of Theological Studies in Latin America in his second language of Spanish.
