• One recommendation from a person who can attest to your eagerness to grow intellectually, spiritually, in ministry, or in other relevant ways. Please have your person complete the Recommendation Form on your behalf.
• Personal Statement:
  As part of your application, Palmer Theological Seminary requests a personal statement that addresses your faith journey and vocational goals. Your statement should be 2-4 typed, double-spaced pages and answer the following questions: 
  1. What personal experiences have shaped your faith?
  2. Why do you feel called to pursue theological education at Palmer Theological Seminary?
  3. What are your personal, professional, and academic goals? Include areas of growth you hope will be developed by your experience at Palmer
• Official transcript(s) from the degree conferring undergraduate (and graduate if applicable) institution* you attended, preferably (but not necessarily) from a college or university that is institutionally accredited and endorsed by CHEA.
  • *Applicants with unaccredited Bachelor's Degrees can be considered for admission on a case by case basis.
  • Transcripted studies should reflect adequate preparation for study in the relevant graduate program.

• Minimum Undergraduate GPA of 2.5 required. Applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 2.5 will be considered on a case by case basis and must submit a GPA letter. A graduate GPA over 3.0 can also satisfy the minimum GPA requirement.
